I wondered if problems like this could be somehow triggered by the helpful "auto-rearm" feature of gatekeeper, which quietly resets your gatekeeper prefs for you after 30 days?

I've turned it off on my system:
sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.security GKAutoRearm -bool NO

FinderPop and Sierra - Missing functions

Postby TCalpha » 23 Jun 2017, 18:16

I have installed FinderPop as per Blueberry's notes and it seems to be working so far. There are two important functions that are missing however...

1. The "Contents" function (after invoking FP, there was an option to view the contents of the folder one had right clicked on.
2. The ability to right click on a file/folder and move it into one of the FinderPop favorites folders.

Anyone have fixes for these?

Thanks!

You have to select the item you're clicking on first (eg, single-click) and then, once it's selected, right-click it again.
I still haven't figured out a proper way to get the Finder item clicked on El Capitan and later...
